Warranty
At Speedy Customs, we pride ourselves on not only our service but our products!
We believe in everything that we offer and know that you will be satisfied with your purchase.
However, we also understand that sometimes an issue can occur!
At Speedy Customs, we have a saying: "Get it right, or put it right!"
Because of this, we offer 12 months warranty on every item.
If you experience any problems with a Speedy Customs product you have purchased, simply contact our online support team via email:

Our warranty team may request the following:

A photo of the item removed from the vehicle

A photo or video of the item not working in the car

Additional questions to diagnose the issue

Some simple testing steps to help resolve the issue

Return of the item for assessment
If a fault is found, we will reimburse your return postage. If no fault is found, return shipping will not be reimbursed and may be charged for resending.
⚠️ The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Any modification or attempted repair by the customer will void the warranty.
Repeat Warranty:
If a replacement item fails within the original warranty period, it is still covered, but the original warranty expiration still applies.
Example:
Purchase on 1st Jan 2020 with expiry on 31st Dec 2020. If a replacement is issued in June 2020, the warranty for the replacement still ends on 31st Dec 2020.
Important:
Speedy Customs reserves the right to refuse warranty claims. This will only be done with justification, and reasoning will be provided.
Customers who publicly slander Speedy Customs without first allowing us to resolve the issue may not be eligible for warranty.
Fitting Costs:
We do not cover fitting or installation costs under warranty. Our liability lies with the product only.
In-House Fitting:
If you experience issues following installation at Speedy Customs, the vehicle must be returned to us for inspection and possible rectification.
By purchasing from or booking with Speedy Customs, you agree to these warranty terms.
Returns
Return Address:
This will be provided upon return request. We have multiple dispatch centres.
❗ Do not return items without the correct address — this could result in lost parcels.
Return Conditions:

Items on Sale, in Clearance, or Made to Order are non-returnable.

Definition of Sale: Includes clearance events like Black Friday, Holiday sales, etc.
(R1.1) Changed Your Mind?

Notify us within 14 days of receiving the item

Item must be returned within 28 days of purchase

Must be unused and in original packaging

No duct tape allowed for repackaging

Return postage is your responsibility
Items with “Non-returnable if seal removed” stickers cannot be returned once opened.
(R1.2) Restocking Fees

5-10% (minimum £15) deducted from the credit note

Shipping fees are not refunded

Our own branded items are exempt if re-packaging isn't needed
(R1.3) Fee Waivers
May be waived as a goodwill gesture (not guaranteed for future cases)

Damaged or faulty items must be reported within 24 hours of delivery

Inspect all items before installation

Electrical items with removed seal cannot be returned

We’ll provide documentation if you need to make a courier claim
Cancellations
Before Dispatch:
Due to automation, it may not be possible to cancel once an order is placed.

Made-to-order items cannot be cancelled once processing begins

Choosing to wait after delay notification waives right to cancel

Refunds will be in the form of a credit note unless otherwise agreed
Charges from Cancellation:

Payment provider fees (e.g. PayPal or Card)

1% administration/staff charge
Examples:

PayPal: £500 order = ~£19.80 deduction

Card: £500 order = ~£19.70 deduction
These charges are not profits — they are costs incurred by Speedy Customs.
Exceptions:

No deductions for warranty-related refunds

Admin fee waived for cancellations requested within 24 hours
Finance Orders:

Under Consumer Credit Act 1974 (Section 66A), 14-day cooling off period
-
After 14 days, cancellation is no longer possible unless settled with the finance provider
Delivery Issues & Claims

Lost in transit

Most claims resolved within 2–4 working days (can vary by season/location)
